Materials 3 1/2″ Round Disk Recycled Beverage Container approx. same diameter as disk Small Fake Tree Small Figurine Fake Styrofoam Snow Glue Gun Tacky Glue Ribbon Wood Ball Awl Step 1. Begin by gluing your snow globe items in place with a glue gun. If you’re working with smaller kids, you can either use Tacky Glue or complete this step for them. Step 2. Apply a generous amount of Tacky Glue to the wood base. Step 3. Working over a container to catch the extra, pour the styrofoam pellets onto the wood base until covered. Allow to dry for a few minutes. Step 4. Apply hot glue to the outer rim of wood base and cover with recycled beverage container. The height of your container is dependent on the size of your tree and figurine. Mine is approximately 5″ tall. Step 5. Use hot glue and ribbon to cover the base of the snow globe. Add additional decorations like a bow or garland. Step 6. Remove cap and fill with more snow pellets. Step 7. Wrap cap with more ribbon and adhere wood ball to top. Step 8. Done and done! You’ve now got a super cute DIY Recycled Snow Globe to enjoy for years to come. Let It Snow! In addition to how easy this project is to make, I love that it’s totally customizable!
